When meeting with clients before the wedding, we are often asked what we like best about photographing weddings. Our answer is always about witnessing such a happy, love-filled event. Darcy and Keerthi’s wedding is a perfect example of this. Watching two families from opposite ends of the world coming together to celebrate the love shared by their children will never get old.
Our day began with the bride, Darcy, as she got prepared for the wedding. Having two photographers really has its benefits as eventually one of us went to pick up the groom, Keerthi, who was getting ready with his family. Both Darcy and Keerthi had chosen to have a first look before the wedding. A great option to ease some pre-wedding jitters. With a gorgeous foot bridge a block away from the wedding venue, choosing the location was easy. Following the first look we headed to Preservation Hall in Wellfleet where the ceremony and reception would take place.
One of the absolute highlights of the wedding, was when the Father of the Bride surprised everyone by hiring a dancer to perform a traditional South Indian folk dance to entertain the guests as well as welcome the new in-laws to the family.
Darcy and Keerthi, good luck on your life together and thank you for entrusting your wedding photography to us.
