No wedding day is without its hiccups. Katie and Tyler's wedding was no exception. With a couple hours left before Katie walked down the aisle, Tyler had realized his pants had not gotten hemmed, they even still had the chalk line on them where the tailor was supposed to hem them. While he ran back to the tailor for some last second alterations, Katie's dress just wasn't fitting right. Some quick scissor work and sewing by the bride and her mother and she was ready to go. Back in Tyler's room, he finally arrives with the tailored pants only to find out that 2 of his groomsmen cannot find their ties. Some quick decisions cause them to go to the store and buy all new ties for everyone, knowing nothing in stock matched the ties they originally had. It is in moments like these, you learn a lot about people, and it was clear to me as I watched Katie and Tyler deal with these little hiccups and take them in stride. They never got flustered or stressed; they just fixed it and moved on. It is this easygoing nature and ability to adapt that makes these two so perfect for each other and will prove to strengthen their relationship.
Once all the pre wedding curveballs had been knocked out of the park, the couple left their separate rooms at the Boston Marriott in Peabody, and began their life of wedding bliss together. Another tribute to their easy going nature was their celebratory Corona toast to one another at the altar.
Soon enough night fell and everyone was on the dance floor, led by Katie and Tyler themselves. Their joy and love on display for all to see on their perfect wedding night. As the night waned, Mr. and Mrs. stole away to the elevators to head back to their wedding suite.
Katie and Tyler, it was such a pleasure meeting you and thank you for having us capture such an important day in your life.
